LP&G Helps Beads of Courage Blast Off

LP&G Gives Back paid off astronomically for Beads of Courage. Using ideas and guidance gained during their LP&G KitchenThink session, the organization partnered with NASA to send 17 hand-crafted beads on the last flight of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. The beads are being used to bring hope and encouragement to children with serious medical conditions.

With LP&G spearheading the public relations efforts, the Beads in Space story reached millions of people across North America. It appeared in dozens of major newspapers and television news shows along with thousands of websites, blogs and twitter tweets. The Russian Space agency even picked it up on its English language website.

Because of Beads in Space, Beads of Courage has received many more patient inquiries, website visits and sponsorship opportunities. They are poised for remarkable growth toward helping more kids cope with prolonged treatments for serious illnesses.

Marketing Goes Better with Sangria

Our Sangria Series #2 was fa bulous. Thanks to everyone who came to hear the wit and wisdom of long-time Ad Man Walt Perls. He imparted some great words of branding and research advice that he learned in the national brand trenches.

And thanks again to Casa Vicente for scrumptious tapas and killer sangria.
It won't be long before we start planning the next Sangria Series. Don't miss out. Send us an email at Sangria@lpginc.com and we'll let you know all about our next fun event.

LP&G Gives Back to Beads of Courage

We had the honor of working with some extremely dedicated people on a very important cause. Representatives of Beads of Courage came to LP&G to participate in a free KitchenThinkTM ideation session. The hours of brainstorming yielded dozens upon dozens of out of this world and practical ideas they can use to work toward their goals. Beads of Courage was selected by a vote of the public in December to receive free marketing services from LP&G. We were impressed by this organization's mission, its dedication and its people, check them out at Beadsofcourage.org.

Big Winners Again

It was Tucson Addy Awards time. We have so much fun; it's like our agency prom. We love to show off our fabulous creative work... and clothes as well. We're proud to have won a Best of Show again and three gold Addys.

We've been busy

We launched new websites for Homeworks Cabinetry + Design, Sterling Investment Management and Wheatmark Publishing.

We've helped University Physicians Healthcare roll out their Arizona Institute for Sports Medicine with a new microsite and a direct mail piece.

We also worked with UPH on promoting their new Cath Lab and created an award-winning TV spot and a direct mail piece.

XOOD, the all-natural endurance drink we've been working with since helping it launch just over a year ago, has gone national. It is now available at retail stores across the country. XOOD is also a sponsor for pro-triathlete Chris "Big Sexy" McDonald, and is sponsoring major endurance events across the country.

All in the Family

We have a major TV star in our midst. During a trip to New York, Caroline Palmer showed off her hula-hooping skills on Sesame Street.

...And a great musician. Leslie Perls' son Noah participated in The Arizona Daily Star's Battle of the Bands. His band, Del Bosska, won second place.

Congratulations goes to Jenny Hanke's daughter Stacey, who got married. And we're happy to report that the mother of the bride survived the wedding.
