ocky Ponce
Graphic Designer
Rocky’s design, writing and illustration talents stem from an extensive background in art, critical thinking and an obstinate interest in the world around him. He is one of those rare combinations of humans who can write and design. He’s a great conceptual thinker and a boon to our creative sessions. He lives outside the box, and we honor his position there. In fact, we love him for it. Before starting at LP&G, Rocky was a designer for Tucson Newspapers, where he created ads in record time on a daily basis. In 2006, he won an ACME Award of Excellence from the Newspaper Association of America and has added multiple ADDY Awards since. Rocky graduated magna cum laude from The University of Arizona in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications with emphasis in graphic design. He joined LP&G in 2006.
& did you know… Rocky once broke a skydiving instructor's nose during the freefall. He is the first person on record to accomplish this.
